What I've learned along the way
Giving looks different for everyone.
It's personal. It's intentional. It's not one-size-fits-all.
Some hosts give through money, others through time or resources — and always in ways that connect to causes that mean something to them.
That realization shaped my mission: to create simple tools, resources, and community so more hosts can give back in ways that feel authentic to them.
The turning point
A community that changed everything.
Everything shifted when I met Jodie Odlin and became part of the Hospitable Hosts community — a global network of purpose-driven STR hosts.
Sharing our family's story in Hospitable Hosts, Volume 3 opened the door to connect with hosts all over the world, and to show that when we come together, the ripple of giving grows stronger than we could ever create alone.
